ATTRIBUTED TO ELIZABETH GLASER (AMERICAN, ACTIVE 1815–1830) "FASHIONABLE LADIES" FOLK ART WATERCOLOR AND INK PORTRAIT.
American, ca. 1830. Watercolor and ink on paper. Depicts two fashionable ladies in period dress wearing hats, gloves and stoles in vibrant polychrome pignment. 6.75"h. 5.25"w. In a gilt frame behind glass, 9"h. 7.75"w. Originally shown at exhibition entitled "Reflections of 19th Century America: Folk Art from the collection of Sybil and Arthur Kern" at the Museum of our National Heritage, Lexington, Massachusetts, September 19, 1979 to June 15, 1980, original exhibition label is still attached to the backing on the frame.

Provenance: From the Collection of Peggy McClard & Randy Segotta (Weare, New Hampshire).
