American, 19th Century. Squat ovoid preserve jar with applied, ribbed lug handles, tooled shoulder, and tall collar. Freehand floral vine swag on front and back with cobalt highlights at handles. 6.5"h.

Provenance: The Lifetime Collection of the late Nancy Goff (Alliance, Ohio).

  • Condition: Excellent condition excepting two minor rim nicks and a few minor nicks to one handle.
