Chinese (made for the American market), late 18th - early 19th Century. Polychrome floral decorated bowl with a gilt coat of arms depicting birds and a winged creature (thought to be for the Brown family), with gilt and orange ruyi border on interior rim. 4.75"h. 11.25"d. Ex Nathan Liverant & Son (Colchester, Connecticut). From the lifetime collection of Joanne & Dr. David Woodyard, Granville, Ohio.

  • Condition: With some chips and an old repair to top rim, discoloration.
