American, 19th Century. Pine. One side in German and other in English. Original paint is black lettering: "J. Schneider Maker Repairing done to order" with boots and red carriage flourishes over white ground. Painted black frame with forged iron hanging hardware. 22.5"h. 18"w. including hardware. Ex Helen Kogan (Zionsville, Indiana).
