Mills (Exeter, New Hampshire); Israel Sack Inc. (New York, New York). Together with an Israel Sack Inc. 90th anniversary catalog with citation, page 72.

    Condition:
  • With chips, cracks, and losses to paint; separation to top boards. The piece is very stable. The hinges are solid. We believe that the applied wooden piece along the inner edge is for stability of the lid to prevent it from moving side to side and perhaps to enable it to close gently. There is shrinkage to the sides where they meet the front piece. (NP 11.27.24)
