American (West Virginia), 19th Century. Exuberant freehand cobalt vining flower across upper half of front with stenciled label below. Stripes to top and bottom, lug handles with cobalt accents. Approx. 13.25"h. Illustrated and discussed in "Stoneware of Western Pennsylvania" by Phil Schaltenbrand (see page 84, plate number 81).
