American, second quarter 19th Century. Oil on board. Unsigned. She has her hair pulled into an updo, wears a blue dress, and three necklaces. Pencil writing in center and across area of the neck. Label on back reads "My grandmother Mrs. D.A. Baldwin". 28"h. 22.75"w. Contemporary frame, 31"h. 25.75"w. Ex Blandon Cherry (Paris, Kentucky).

  • Condition: Surface wear, pencil writing to neck and age split. Age split is on a glue line on the painted panel, not very noticeable to naked eye. (JS 11.27.24)
